Singapore Haul, Presents and Other Stuff

Hi girls! How's it going?

Last weekend I went to Singapore for a day to spend time with my bff. There were a lot of things I wanted to buy but in the end, I either forget it or they don't have the stock that I want. Here's my little haul...

1. Necklaces for my housemates, Christine and Ida. The necklaces came in dainty and delicate design. So girlie girl, reminds me of both my housemates so I got it for them.

2.  Forever New pink laptop bag. This is on sale. It's only SGD59.95. And I also needed a laptop bag because the laptop I bought from Australia didn't come with a bag. They sell the bag separately and the cheapest cost about AUD70+. Anyway, all those are just excuses to get a laptop bag. I wanted to buy it because it's pink, it's Forever New and it's so princessy!!!! Now I'm just waiting for my chance to bring my laptop to work. Teehee...

3. LUSH bath bomb for Michelle. She's a fan of bath bomb and especially from LUSH. I wanted to get some soap bar from LUSH, and for some reason they have very little option. I'm not sure if it's me or LUSH is getting less interesting now. I was a little disappointed when I came out from LUSH. Shall visit them again after I go through their online store and start writing down a shopping list. Or else I really don't know what I want when I visit them.

4. Nip + Fab Frown Fix eye cream. This eye cream instantly removes fine lines in less than 10 minutes. I read a lot of reviews on this and even saw the result on Tried & Tested video. I was really impressed by what I saw and read online, so I really want to test it out. It's only SGD19.90. If it works, I can save a lot of money on eye cream.

5. A peplum top from Forever 21. For some unknown reason, Forever 21 in Singapore is cheaper. If you ever thought of buying a full retail price from Forever 21 Malaysia, better save up your money and get it in SG. It's so much worth it to buy there and they have more varieties.

And here are pressies from my bff. She's the most sensitive friend I ever had. She just know what I want and what I like. It's like she can read my mind. I love everything that she got for me.

1. Urban Decay Naked Basics. I really wanted to get it when it first launched. But Shikin already told me she got it for me, so I was having mixed feeling whether I should buy it first or should I just wait until she give it to me. So I waited, and waited and waited.... and finally I have it!!! Will write a review soon. So excited!!!

2. LUSH Snow Fairy Shower Gel. This is the LUSH Christmas edition shower gel. It smells like candy/bubble gum. And the shower gel has slight glitter. It's very interesting. Can't wait to try this out, but at the same time I'm kinda reluctant because it's so pretty!

3. Korres Body Butter in Japanese Rose. This is the most amazing body butter I've ever tried. It's thick and creamy, but it doesn't feel sticky at all and don't leave greasy marks on anything I touch. Once I apply it on my skin, I couldn't stop rubbing myself (I know that sounds wrong). It makes my skin feels so smooth and moisturized. If you ever go to Korres, try it and you'll fall in love. But sadly, there's no Korres in Malaysia :( When you go to SG, remember to visit Korres.

4. Korres Lip Butter in Jasmin. I have this in Wild Rose (also from Shikin). After using it, I really love it. This is another product you should try. It's really sad because Malaysia is missing out this brand. They have really good stuff. If you want a speedier way to get Korres products, you can order from Luxola. They constantly having free shipping to Malaysia.

5. Samples sachets. I'm loving the Chanel Le Blanc after trying out the sample sachets. But after I google for the review online, so many people mention that it's not worth it to buy. God bless these beauty bloggers, without them I probably will be wasting RM300+ soon.

Last week I met up with Marie Claire for a short interview and they rewarded me with all these stuff...

1. A set of REN skincare. I've been wanting to try REN stuff because I heard a lot of good things about it. I got very excited when I saw this!!!

2. Thierry Mugler Womanity. Never tried this before and after I smell it, it's not really my kind of perfume too :( Since it's a gift, must appreciate <3

3. The Lip Smacker Coca-cola lip balm. I've been wanting to try this but it's so expensive and reluctant to spend my money on it. Now I can have all the flavors!!!! Oh, lucky me!

4. Maybelline Angelfit Liquid Foundation. Oh, I'm so glad to receive this. This came just in time when I need a new foundation and it suits my skintone perfectly. Awesome!

Marie Claire actually gave me a full size Clinelle eyecream. But I already have it from the previous Wonderbox, so I gave it to my friend and it's not in the photo. And of course, I also bought some stuff from my regular shopping and over-bought some mascaras...

1. Kiss Me Heavy Rotation liquid pen eyeliner. My favorite eyeliner of all time. Full review here.

2. Kiss Me Heroine Make liquid eyeliner. Got this from Modbox before and it's really great. So I purchase a new one.

3. I bought 3 Essence mascaras to try on. They were on sale. It's a little hard to resist the temptation of sale! Since I heard Essence makeups are not too bad, I thought I should try it out. If they're really that good, then I can save up a lot on mascaras in the future.

4. Contrary to my theory above on saving on mascaras, I also splurge a little on Max Factor False Lash Effect mascara. Anyway, it is on sale too. That's how I can justify purchasing it.

5. Inglot duo-eyeshadow case. This is the new Inglot case which has cover and mirror. I have plenty of Inglot eyeshadows and been travelling around with the 3-pan case. This case is smaller and the mirror is also very convenient.

 6. Daiso facial cleansing pad. This is my best purchase from Daiso so far. I've bought it before but the bristles turned mouldy after I left it for awhile. So now I'm getting a new one. Just squeeze your facial cleanser on the pad and clean your face as usual. It gives a gentle scrub and removes some bumps on the skin. Get it from Daiso while they're still selling it!!!

Lately I've been getting a lot of Nivea products for my daily use. Nivea is quite a good brand, and it has been around since a very long time. I've been seeing the brand since I was a child until now. Remember that blue tin tub of moisturizer our mom used to have???

1. Nivea Pure & Natural face moisturizer. Rumour says that Kate Middleton is using this moisturizer. And I've been seeing beauty blogs and magazines buzzing about this cream. I think it is time to try it out myself. After all, it only cost RM26.90.

2. Nivea Energy Fresh Anti-Perspiration spray. I always use the roll on type. This time I purchase something different, the spray type to see if it's better. And indeed, it is easier to use. And it's a dry spray, so you don't have to hold up your arms to dry it.

3. Nivea Pure & Natural Facial Cleansing Wipes. I only use one sheet from this packet and I must say, I don't really like it. It has that stinging sensation when I wipe off my makeup earlier. And some spots feels the burning sensation. It suppose to be a gentle wipe, but I don't feel any gentle at all. So I turned the packaging over and found out that the wipe contains alcohol and perfume. That explains a lot...

That's all for my haul today. I really can't wait to write a review on that Naked Basics palette and Nip + Fab Frown Fix. So many things I want to post up on this blog, but I have so little time :(
