Damn Good Budget Beauty Moisturiser: Nivea Pure & Natural Moisturising Day Cream

When it comes to skincare, you don't really need to spend a lot of money. A good skincare that does what it claims to do is sufficient and it can also saves you a lot of money. For instance, you really don't need to splurge on makeup remover, facial wash, facial scrub, toner and moisturiser. Yes, MOISTURISER! And I just found just the right moisturiser that is good enough for everyone.

It is the Nivea Visage Pure & Natural Moisturising Day Cream. You probably have heard of this.... this moisturiser is what the Dutchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton currently using.

Tried for a week and I must say I love it! I'm definitely going to use this everyday after all my sponsored skincare run out.

Pros:

1. 95% of its ingredients are from natural origins. It works well with all skin type, even the sensitive skin.
2. The texture is thick, but once smoothen out on the skin, it is lightweight and feels soft. It is non-greasy and feels matte.
3. Keeps the skin moisturized and hydrated throughout the day without clogging pores or making your skin oily.
4. Easily available and cheap.

Cons:

1. Although it is suppose to be a day cream, it does not come with UV protection. No SPF, no PA. So you will have to put on another product that has sun protection (sun block, makeup base with SPF, or foundation with SPF).

If you happen to walk pass by Watson or Guardian, go and try it. I think most of you will like it. No harm buying to try one too because the price is pretty pocket-friendly.

To be honest, I picked this up just because I've been reading about how Kate Middleton is a fan. I'm a huge fan girl of Kate, so I practically want to copy her style, and even her skincare routine! Do you think my face will magically turn into how Kate looks like after applying her favorite moisturiser? I'm hoping it will, you know?

Hmm ... I'm curious about this now although I'm a little concern about Nivea products when it comes to fragrance. Is this strong, like the body lotions?

Jerine said...

@jamie: It doesn't smell that strong. I find the scent quite pleasant. And it doesn't irritate the skin.
