Urban Decay Naked 3 is out (and some comparisons with other Naked palettes)

Naked palette fans behold..... Naked 3 is now available in the market (distributed by mistake. They are suppose to launch this early next year). Let's give it a few more months and it will be arriving our shores soon!

The palette comes with 12 shades of neutral color eye shadow,  which 3 of it is matte: Strange, Limit & Nooner.

Disclaimer!!!
The comparison below is based on my observation from photos of the Naked 3. I don't have the actual product to compare. The comparison may not be accurate.

Strange - Very close dupe to Foxy (Naked 2 & Naked Basics)
Dust -Yellow based champagne and probably no close dupe so far
Burnout - Pink based champagne which similar to Sin (Naked 1)
Limit - Taupe that's very similar to Naked (Naked 1) and Naked 2 (Naked Basics)
Buzz - Reminds me of Sidecar (Naked 1)
Trick - A lot like Half Baked (Naked 1 & 2)
Nooner - Looks like Tease (Naked 2)
Liar - Kinda look like Suspect (Naked 2)
Factory - Don't think there's any dupe for this one, but it looks pretty close to Suspect (Naked 2)
Mugshot - A lighter version of Pistol (Naked 2)
Darkside - I don't think there's a dupe for this as well
Blackheart - Similar color to Creep (Naked 1) but has more intense black

I see a lot of possible dupes in this palette. I think Urban Decay is producing the Naked 3 to keep the nude palette hype. The palette itself didn't scream WOW at all. I find the selection of eye shadows in all the Naked palettes are so scattered. I would appreciate it if Urban Decay to come out with Naked Matte and Naked Glitters/Sparkles/Shimmer, or something which has better arrangement with texture instead of simply throwing in shades that look a lot like other Naked palettes.

What do you think about this palette? Are you going to get it or are you hitting the miss button for this? I will get it for the sake of collecting all the Naked palettes. I will announce it here again when it is finally available in Malaysia.

Wow! naked 3! are you goin to buy this palette?
I might not buying this palette since the colors are almost similar to Naked and Naked2. But.. maybe after I swatch them out, I might fall in love the colors in person. who knows. wait and see for the real product to come to Malaysia. hmm. But the price? UD always set high price for their products. ;(

The packaging is nice :) the colors seem to have more pinks, but i agree that it doesn't scream WOW. it doesnt seem to be much different from naked 2 :/ it makes you feel like you either get naked 2 or 3, not like you have to have both like naked 1 and 2.

@Wiida Ribbon: Yup, I will get it because I already have all the Naked palettes. Just getting it for the sake of having a full collection.

@Farisha Nadia: I hope it looks more promising when I see the real thing.

I think I will be giving this a miss, after all, it doesn't look super special :/ Also, didn't get the other two palettes cos when I swatched it at Sephora, it doesn't seem that pigmented at all. Is it just me or it's normal?

I think, out of the 3 palettes, I like naked 3. The colours are more pearly and less neutral than the 1 and 2 ^.^. It means that the naked 3 palette actually a combination of 1 and 3. I never own Naked 1 or 2 as I have seen enough of people having it and I have been swatching them when I was at Sephora, but Naked 3 probably I will want to get ^.^. The reason people don't scream WOW on this is because they are so used to Naked 1 and 2.

I totally agree with you on the idea of having Naked Shimmer palette or Naked Matte palette ^.^. If they have more variety of colours it would be so much better.

Youre right the palette itself dont really have that wow factor.... I personally would go back to either Naked or Naked2 instead of Naked3..

I like naked2 better than naked3 thou, the colours are not outstanding at all, I think naked2 has prettier colours :) The interior looks exactly as naked2 :p

Agreed with Hannah Bella. Out of these 3 naked palette, I prefer Naked 3. Btw, I only have Naked Basic palette. Hehe. Cheaper! :p
