What's In My Trash (vol. 1)

Previously I called it Product Empties. Right now, I'm going to broaden the scope to What's In My Trash to include products that I discard even when it's still full. Some product just doesn't work and I don't want to waste my time with it, so it has to go into the trash.

Nivea Anti-Perspirant Energy Fresh

I hate this thing. The spray nozzle don't work well. It also leaves white residue under my arm. Everytime I use it, I have to wipe off the white residue with tissue. If I happen to spray this on my black shirt, it ruins my shirt. I'm throwing this away despite there are still probably three quarter left. Definitely won't purchase this again.

L'Oreal Paris Fall Repair 3X

I'm not sure if it works as anti-hair fall shampoo, but as a shampoo itself, it works pretty good. I love the L'Oreal Paris shampoo as compared to the L'Oreal Professional range. I'm already on the third bottle for this.

Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Face Wash

As a loyal fan of the Hada Labo AHA+BHA facial wash, I find this decent to use, but not as good as the AHA+BHA one. I'm not too sure if I should recommend you this product or not, because it is not bad just that I find the other one suit me better.

Etude House Nail Remover #2 Extra Power

I love the Etude House Extra Power Nail Remover so much! It instantly removes glitter nail polish in one swipe. It makes removing nail polish so much easier. Down side of the product is that it might be too strong for some week nails.

Skinlite Makeup Cleansing Tissues

I used to rely on this makeup wipes to help me remove my eye makeup every night (before I fell in love with the Shu Uemura's cleansing oil). For cleansing wipes, this works pretty good. It is very saturated, removes all waterproof makeups easily and mild on the skin. It's pretty cheap. I think I got it for RM9.90 for 2 packets from Sasa.

Aupres Aqua Active Sleeping Mask

I think this is the holy grail of all sleeping mask. It took me 9 months to finish a jar. I will definitely repurchase this. Full review <<here>>

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum

If you can ever stick to one and only serum in this lifetime, choose this. It works like miracle. You can see your skin improve within 3 days. The bad thing is, it is pretty pricey. I think it is all worth it. Full review <<here>>.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer

I used to love this a lot for the no-makeup makeup look. This is my third tube and it took me that long to figure out that the product causes sebum to build up under my skin. I made a mistake thinking that this could be a hybrid product to substitute my daily moisturizer and foundation. It turns out, it has to be worn above makeup base to avoid sebum clogging under your skin. I'm having a love hate relationship with this product and I can't tell if I'm going to repurchase this again.

The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Shower Gel

The smell of this shower gel is wonderful. The vineyard collection used to be a limited edition line (I think), it is now permanent.  Currently I'm using the honey scented one. I always rotate the smells of my shower gel after each bottle and I'm loving the honey one too.

REN Omega 3 Overnight Renewal Serum

Amazing product, but ridiculous smell. Each time I use it I almost puke. It smells like wet market... Imagine the fishy smell in the market, it smells like that. However, if you can ignore the unpleasant scent and looking for effective anti-aging serum, this might be your savior. Anyway, I still think the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair works better. I definitely won't purchase this, I really can't take the smell.

Clinelle Eye Bright
I didn't get to fully appreciate this product. I use it in a week and don't see any improvement nor any difference. I will toss this away, as my Kiehl's eye cream works much better. Life is too short to be spent on products that don't bring any improvements, do you agree?

Korres Body Butter

This was my birthday present from my friend last year. Because it is impossible to get in Malaysia, I use it carefully. I like the fact that it is non-greasy like other body butter and works instantly to repair dry skin. I found the store in Greece and stock up enough to last me a year. Now I'm using this everyday and please feel free to be jealous of my silky smooth skin.

Lucido-L Hair Treatment Essence
For the first few weeks that I was using this product, it works well to provide moisture at the end of the hair to prevent split ends. After awhile, it just don't work anymore. I don't know how that's possible, but there are some products that just work in the beginning and then lost its efficacy after awhile. Full review <<here>>.

Cellnique Intensive Hydrating Cream

This moisturizer provides high moisture level compared to other moisturizers. However, the price is a bit steep. If you don't mind paying RM199 for this, go ahead and get it!

Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet
Generally when it comes to moisturizer, I'm not very picky. I can fall in love with a moisturizer just based on the texture itself. And this Caudalie moisturizer is worth a try if you're a fan of products that made from natural ingredients. Just so you know, Caudalie products are free from parabens, phthalates, phenoxyethanol, mineral oils, sodium laureth sulfate and animal ingredients.

Shaire London Dry Shampoo
This product has to go even though I still have a full bottle of it. I use it three times, and that's it, I'm not in love with it at all. I think it is quite a con job. It is a hair perfume more than a dry shampoo, and even that, it doesn't smell that great either. As a dry shampoo, it makes my oily hair sticking together like I've not showered for months. I hate that icky feeling everytime I spray it on my hair.

Botanics Day Moisture Lotion & Purifying Face Scrub
Botanics is one of Boots home brand that formulated from plant extracts. The day moisturizer, hate it. Ditch it! It's too oily and it doesn't blend well if you want to wear it under your foundation. However, the scrub, love it! If you can get hold of it, get it and you'll love it.

Nip+Fab Frown Fix

Another product that doesn't work on me at all (although it claims to give result in 10 minutes). I gave it 10 trials, no miracle happen. Full review <<here>>.

Lactacyd White Intimate
I don't think the whitening part works, but this is a decent hygiene product for your little sister. I'm currently sticking to Lactacyd brand jumping from the green bottle to the blue bottle from time to time.

SK-II Facial Treatment Essence & Facial Treatment Clear Lotion
I call the Facial Treatment Essence the durian of skincare. It is the king of all skincare, and also you either love it or hate it. There's no in between. If you haven't try it yet, do give it a try to see if it suits you. These are my staple products every day and night. You'll be seeing me talking about it more on this blog. For the Facial Treatment Essence full review, click <<here>.

Nivea Pure & Natural Moisturizing Day Cream
Apparently this is the moisturizer that Kate Middleton uses. I didn't finish the entire jar, I still have half to go. Unfortunately, the scent bothers me a little bit. I prefer moisturizer with no scent. Full review <<here>>.

MAC Blacktrack Gel Liner
This is one of the very first MAC product that I purchased. I'm surprised the content didn't dry up after 3 years. I have everything good to say about this gel liner, but at the same time, I have not compared it with other brands. Will definitely repurchase a new jar. (Note to self: Must not discard this jar. MAC has the recycle program)

Kerastase Ciment Anti-Usure hair treatment & Initialiste
I don't like the Ciment Anti-Usure. In fact, I don't like everything from the Kerastase green line. Maybe it is not meant for my hair type. I prefer the pink one better. As for the Initialiste, I'm already on the second bottle. The first one was given to me as PR sample. The price is quite expensive but that didn't deter me from purchasing the second bottle. I'm not quite sure if it does what it says, but I am very sure this product prevents hair fall, and that is all I ask for. Full review <<here>>.

Let me know if you would like to see more of What's In My Trash post so I can start collecting my empty bottles. I find that these mini reviews are more useful than individual reviews. At least you all get to see what are the products that I actually use until last drop, and what product that I'm willing to throw away. I hope these mini reviews can help you in some ways to determine if you should get the product for yourself.

I like this post because it's really useful. actually you can giveaway the products that you don't like to your friends/family because products that don't work on you might work on them. Just feel so wasteful to see you sending them to bin.
