Introducing Sara Happ's The Lip Slip & The Lip Scrub

Let me begin with the history of Sara Happ. Miss Sara is a self-confessed beauty junkie. She searched up everywhere for lip scrub and couldn't find any, so she went to her kitchen and made the very first lip scrub. Hence, a cult product was born. Right now, Sara Happ is a much loved product by celebrities such as Jennifer Garner, Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, Lauren Conrad and many more.

Sara Happ has very few products under her brand. They only produce lip scrub, lip balm (which they call it The Lip Slip) and body scrub.

The Lip Slip

Let's get straight to the point. I hate this product! It is the stickiest product I've ever tried on my lips. Not to mention, the packaging is not user-friendly. When I swipe it from the jar, my finger gets sticky as well and it requires soap to wash off the residue from my finger. Sometimes the product gets stuck underneath my finger nails. I'm totally ditching this. There are plenty of good lip balm out there, you can do well without this. I can't stand the stickiness and the inconvenience of the application.

The Lip Scrub

On the other hand, I find the lip scrub is quite pleasant to use. Not only it is easy to use, it tastes good as well. The one I have is in Black Velvet Cherry and it does taste like cherry. They have other flavors like Peppermint, Vanilla Bean, Brown Sugar, Creme Brulee, Red Velvet and Sparkling Pink Grapefruit. I might want to get the Sparkling Pink Grapefruit next. I find this useful to have next to my sink. Whenever I have that residue of lipstick on the lines of my lips (especially from matte lipstick), I will give my lips a little scrub and all the lipstick stain will be gone.

By the way, have you heard of Sara Happ before? Have you tried any of their products? Do you need a more comprehensive review on the lip scrub? (I'm not asking you about the Lip Slip because I won't put it on my lips ever again!)

I purchased this in a set for SGD52. However, they do sell the products individually.
