Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Eyeshadow Palette

Hey! This is one of my favourite gift lately (besides the auto-gate at home). I got this from my friend, to be honest, I am reluctant to break into the product as always when I get a new makeup. There's something about it that makes me feel bad about touching the perfect and pristine condition of the new eyeshadow. This happens to blusher as well. But finally, I did a swatch today and tested them out on my lid (no photos of me for this post).

I already fell in love with the packaging. The combination of old gold and sunburst makes the packaging appear luxurious. The palette is about 1.3cm thick so it is pretty sleek as well. The surface is a bit bigger than my palm, which means the size is not too big but it is not pocket sized.

Although this palette supposed to be the "All Matte. All Naked" palette, not all the shadows are matte. Surprised? Let's go into the swatches:

L-R: Blow, Nude, Commando, Tempted, Instinct, Lethal
The first shadow Blow isn't the same as all the other matte siblings. It has fine satin finish. I'm not complaining because it comes really handy especially when you want to highlight your inner corner of the eyes, under the brow bone and also it gives your eyeshadow a pop. As for Nude, Commando and Tempted, they don't show well on the swatches but they are great transition colors. Also, if you have a fair skin, you can just put any of the three shadows as single color to achieve the deep eye socket look. They are really natural and you can use them to create a more 3D look (eg. contour or darken any light eyeshadow colors). Instinct is also a transition color but it is more prominent. However, the texture of Instinct is a bit chalky compared to others. You might want to use eye primer for that. Lethal is a tree bark dark brown shade and the most pigmented eyeshadow in the pan.

L-R: Pre-Game, Extra Better, Faith, Lockout, Magnet, Blackjack
I love the bottom row better than the one above. Pre-Game is a yellow tone beige, this might not show on Asian skin. But if you are creative enough, I think you can use the shadow for a lot of function. The Extra Better is a true chocolate color. Faith and Lockout are beautiful darker transition and good to deepen the crease line on your eyelid. Magnet picks up really well on the brush, but when I swatched it, the color tend to wash out. On the pan it looks like a gunmetal shade but when applied on the skin, it turns into gray-brown. Blackout is an intense brown for a more smokey look.

FYI, I use a flat eyeshadow brush on dry skin for the swatch. I did not apply any primer prior and I swatched it dry, which I think is only fair to show how the eyeshadow turns out.

To be honest and fair for the review part, I have only used this palette once on my eye and the shade I used were Blow, Tempted & Magnet. The three of them blends really well and stay for a very long time (approximately 8 hours and they still look freshly applied). It doesn't crease throughout the day (note that I did put on the Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance primer). The pigmentation and color pay-off are satisfying. There's not a single shade that is disappointing, except the Instinct which I find a bit chalky. You can solve that problem with a primer so I don't think it is a big deal. You might want to be careful with Magnet because the color on the pan and the swatch are significantly different. If you forget about how brown it applies, you might end up ruining your look thinking that it is a dark gunmetal color. Anyway, Urban Decay is well-known for the quality of their eyeshadows and you definitely will love it.

This palette has all the new shades that we have not seen before from the other Naked palettes. They are exclusive shades, so you won't get them anywhere in other palettes or in any singles. I think all the colors are wearable and suit everyday look (if you put on makeup everyday). You can achieve a natural look or a dark smokey eyes with this palette, rest assured, it is a versatile and practical palette to have.

As a bonus, it comes with a double-ended blending and smudger brush. I am not a fan of the brush that comes in any of the Naked palette. However, it is proven to be useful when traveling. They're not the best of quality, but you can rely on it when in desperate needs. I can definitely live without it, but like I said, it is just a bonus.

6 Tips in Engaging with Wedding Makeup Artists

Recently I decided to learn about male makeups. I always wanted to be a makeup artist but I do not have the talent in eyelining and eyeshadow. So I have to focus on male makeup only. I focus on male because I feel that males are just as vain as the females and they too, want to feel beautiful especially on their big days.

During my research, I have spoken to a lot of makeup artists and mostly wedding makeup artists. Here are some of the tips that I personally compiled. If you're getting married soon, or know someone who can benefit from these tips, be sure to share it with them.

#1 - Source your makeup artist at least 3 months before
Ask for recommendations and call up the makeup artists yourself. While planning for your wedding it can be really messy and you probably delegate this task to your sister or friend. You need to feel the bond with your makeup artists. If the bond is not established, there will be disaster waiting for you.

#2 - Provide adequate information
Remember to provide enough information to your makeup artist so that they are able to create a great look for you. Information such as (1) what dress you are wearing, (2) what is the lighting condition at the wedding venue, (3) is it an outdoor or indoor wedding, (4) what is your groom wearing, (5) the theme of your wedding, (6) are you going to change outfit in between, and (7) how long will the event last.

#3 - Send selfies
Send 2 selfies to your makeup artist - one bare naked look and another one with mild makeup. The makeup artist may want to study your face feature and to see which look you should go for. Remember to also mention your skin condition - dry or oily, sensitive, etc.

#4 - Give 3 sample looks
Get 3 looks that you want to achieve, whether online or from magazine, and send it to your makeup artist. Despite a professional, they need to study the look as well. The sample will give them the idea whether the look suit you or not.

#5 - Prepare your product
A lot of people assume that makeup artists have enough supply of makeups to complete your look. The truth is, we don't. If you have a specific foundation or a limited edition lipstick you want to use, bring it along. It also helps if you let the makeup artist know before hand. Someone of us just can't live without our favourite lipstick shades.

#6 - Test makeup (Optional)
This is completely optional, but recommended for you to do a test look before your big day. Sometimes what the makeup artists imagine to be might not be able to carry the same translation onto your face. You should do the testing at least few weeks before, in case you don't like the look, the makeup artist can research better or have time to do some adjustment. If it is really bad, at least you have the time to source for another makeup artist to do the job.

Self-promotion time. If you are getting married, do check out awesome stuff you can get from my store www.wanderlustthings.com. It starts with a pretty dainty pearl necklace that comes in silver and gold for your bridesmaid:

And then you can place the scratch map at the reception area for the guests to mark off where they're from.

Lastly, serve your guests with the beautiful and luxurious marble paper plate. The gold rim is just so classy (and Instagram-friendly).

[Haul] Singapore Beauty Haul

Singapore beauty scene is a lot better compared to Malaysia in terms of choices, prices and they are able to get new stuff faster than us (apparently this is due to our Health Ministry strict approval check list). Whenever I'm there the must-visit stores are Sephora, LUSH, Watson & Sasa. Here are all the stuff I grabbed, plus, I will be giving away two items from my haul soon. Can you guess what they are?

First, I will share what my friend gave me for my birthday, Valentine's Day, Christmas and all the festive season lump into one gift. I think she is crazy for buying all these. It must have cost a bomb!

The most practical is the (1) Crabtree & Evelyn handcream & lipbalm. If you read my post on "What's in my friend's makeup bag Vol.1", you can find the same lipbalm in her bag. I have hundreds of handcream and lipbalm but they run out really fast, so this very practical to me. I have tried the Jojoba lipbalm, it will dry up all the chapped lips and reveal the soft skin on your skin. She also got me the (2) Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics palette to complete my Naked palette collection. This palette is so expensive that I can't get myself to purchase it. Anyway, this review will be up soon because one of her condition is to write a review for her. (3) Dior Addict Lip Sugar Scrub. Personally I know how to make this sugar scrub but it takes too much effort because of the temperature sensitivity and also I need two more pairs of hands to help out when making the sugar scrub. I can already know how effective this scrub is before using it, but I just don't want to break open the product. (4) YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush in the shade of Corail Sulfureux, which I already worn on my cheek. It is easiy blend and the color withstand long hour.

Among my friends, there's always give exchange moments. While in SG, I grabbed a Pandora charm for Lady Alie's baby shower. My friend is having the third baby now, and here I am... multiplying lipsticks in my collection.

There was a great deal for Bath & Body Works - 3 wick candle for only SGD15. I wish I could buy more, after thinking that I had to carry it everywhere, I decided to buy only 1 candle. The Pure White Cotton scent smells like 5-star resort. While waiting at the cashier, I conveniently drop a small bottle of body wash into my basket.

My friends were trying to get the super popular Canmake Your Lip Only Gloss from Japan and apparently it is sold out everywhere. I tried to find it in Malaysia as well but it is sold out as well. Surprisingly, I found it in Watson SG. Without hesitation, I put two of the different shade into my basket. There's not many left, in fact I got the last piece of the right shade. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that think this is the best lipgloss ever.

Next, are also my favourite Japanese brand - K-Palette. I attracted by the packaging first. It's Disney!!!! And it's Alice & Cinderella!!! Although I bought it purely for the packaging, it turned out to be really great products. The 1 Day Tattoo Eyeliner has the same quality of their usual eyeliner, with pimped up packaging of Alice in Wonderland. And the 1 Day Tattoo Lasting 2Way Eyebrow Liquid is actually a liquid eyebrow pen and on the other side, it has eyebrow powder to set the liquid. This eyebrow pen is super amazing.

Something I did not expect to like so much is the LUSH Jersey Bounce shampoo. I've always wanted to get shampoo that is made of natural product and LUSH is one of the brand that I could think of. I had my doubt at first, so I bought a small tub to try. After using it the first wash, I fell in love with this shampoo immediately. The next day I went back to grab a large tub.

And I found my favourite Australian brand Australis. Check out the Top 10 Must-Buy Australian beauty brands. The CYA Later Pores Spot Primer is exactly the same as the Benefit Porefessional. And the Primer the Original is exactly the same as the Makeup Revolution Ultra Face Base Primer. I'm glad that with just a fraction of the price I am able to get same quality product from Australis. I also grab the Banana Powder as a setting powder under my eyes. This is the brand I go for during my poor uni days. I loved it so much and I'm sure I will love it now as well.

If you have read about the Coco Cafe experience blog post, you know that I did bought something from there, don't you? Here are the amazing stuff I got for myself - Rouge Allure lipstick in 174 Rouge Angelique (very similar shade to Charlotte Tilbury Hepburn Honey and the Powder Blush in 89 Fleur de Lotus. The blush smells like fresh roses. I haven't try it yet, but I already love it.

Lastly, I also brought back a bunch of H&M Beauty products. I have never tried any of the beauty products from H&M. I am super excited about it. I will also giveaway two products from H&M as seen below, to you. But I will post up the giveaway after the Unicorn Brush giveaway ends.

I am super excited to try all of the products and I will post a review on it soon. Since there are so many things, which product review do you want to see first?

Coco Cafe: Chanel Pop-Up Beauty Store

Last weekend I took a short trip down to Singapore to catch up with my bestie and pop into the Coco Café located at the Visual Arts Centre, Dhoby Ghaut Green. The café isn’t a real café, but more of a pop-up beauty counter for shoppers to experience the Chanel’s beauty products. When I first received the email from Chanel, I blasted out to my girlfriends and see who is keen to go with me. Kikin is the only one keen to go (lol!).

Catch Chanel Café Malaysia pop up at Publika now until 23rd April 2017.

The Coco Café operated between 8th–16th April 2017. I know it doesn’t help much since the event is over. I just want to share my experience and after all, you wouldn’t miss out much.

First of all, I think the idea of the pop-up café is really interesting and new. We haven’t seen much of outdoor beauty event lately (due to our bad economy situation, every company is on cost-saving mode). The pop-up café gives a fresh shopping experience and it got me really excited to go.

But when I arrived, the entire experience was ruined, due to a few factors:
  1. There is no difference whether you have booked your slot online or not. They take walk-in visitors as well, which make the place really crowded.
  2.  Poor crowd control and floor planning. When I went into the café I bumped into a crowd waiting to pay their shopping. They shouldn’t have put the payment counter right in front. The same door use for entry and exit, before I manage to get in, I got bumped into a few people.
  3.    Limited products were featured in the café. The testers are also limited, so we couldn’t get the full range of products to test out because some visitors took it with them to another counter. Basically the products are everywhere, not organized and it was difficult for us to try the stuff. I think the overcrowded experience defeats the purpose of them having the café which I assume to allow visitors to try out the products in a more engaging method.
Sampling the new Rouge Coco Gloss Collection

Nonetheless, we still brought new stuff to try. I got 2 lipsticks and a blush – Chanel Blusher Fleur de Lotus (69), Chanel Rouge Angelique (174) Lipstick for my everyday wear, and lastly Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour as a souvenir for memory to my friend who accompany me to the Coco Café and it’s “her colour”. I can't believe we lined up for it, where we can simply walk into any Chanel beauty counter to buy the product. So it is a memory worth saving. She'll get to remember it everytime she applies the lipstick. Haha...

Overall, the experience was just OK but not entirely bad. At least, I get to bring home some new makeup products to play with. Cheers.

What's in my friend's makeup bag Vol. 1

I'm going to start a periodical topic, that is "What's in my friend's makeup bag" to get a sneak peek on  what's in Other's makeup bag (other than mine). I will be digging in to my friend's, Shikin's, daily makeup bag for this post. What I love about Shikin's selection of product is the different range of high-end and drugstore products. She also have a balance of Eastern and Western brands.

Eyes

Too Faced Peach Palette
For eyeshadow, Shikin goes for the cult favourite Peach Palette from Too Faced. The palette was immediately sold out after the first launch and making a come back. The eyeshadow has useable neutral shades for daily wear and some fun colors on the side. Also, the palette smells extremely good.

1. Etude House Look At My Eyes Primer
She does not recommend this primer. She has it in her bag because she haven't gotten a new eye primer.

2. Chanel Ombré Essentielle (101 Gri-Gri)
This limited edition Chanel eyeshadow is the perfect taupe according to her. It is obvious that she uses it very often until the middle of the pan is sinking in.

3. K-Palette Lasting 2 Way Eyebrow Liquid 1 Day Tattoo
This eyebrow product has a duo end - one side liquid and another side powder. It is an idiot proof eyebrow product and the duo function saves time and space. It gives a natural effect and last very long.

4. Etude House - Oh M'eye Line
This eyeliner is waterproof and stays on whole day. She loves the brown color and the brush is easy to use.

5. Missha - Dual Blending Cushion Shadow
This eyeshadow is one of the Line Friends edition, however they have the same product  in their original range as well. The eyeshadow comes in a tube and very easy to use. You just need to apply on the lids and blend it out with fingers.

6. Innisfree - Skinny Microcara
She doesn't like the typical mascara wand and prefers a skinny wand. So the Innisfree Skinny Microcara is perfect for her. She loves that the mascara gives a natural look.

7. Etude House - Tear Eye Line
She uses this product to highlight the inner corner of her eyes and sometimes apply it on top of the eyeshadow to give a shimmery look.

Lips

1. Korres Guava Lip Balm

2. Crabtree & Evelyn Jojoba Oil Lip Balm

3. Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet (Don't Pink of It)
She introduced to me this Bourjois Rouge Edition Belbet Liquid Lipstick. I have to agree that this is the best Liquid lipstick in the drugstore range. The texture is smooth and hydrating. She bought this shade because the name of the shade is cute.

4. Chanel Rouge Allure (174 Rouge Angelic)
This is her nude lipstick when she needs a more toned down look.

5. Chanel Rouge Coco Shine (56 Chance)
This lipstick is a gift from her cousin. She uses it whenever she needs to add some shine onto her lips.

6. Chanel rouge coco shine (69 Flirt)
The shade of this lipstick is very close to her all time favourite Estée Lauder Pink Sand. This is the lipstick that she often use in the stash.

7. Lancôme L'absolu Rouge (105 A la Folie)
Whenever she's in the mood for a Korean pop look, she will apply this bright orange shade. Normally she will use the Chanel Chance on top for a shiny finish.

8. Guerlain KissKiss (343 Sugar Kiss)
There's nothing significant to mention about this lipstick. She bought it because she likes the packaging. We all have that moment, don't we?

Face

1. Urban Decay (Naked Skin)
The Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation is light weight, non greasy and non Cory when worn through the day. She recommended this to me as well and I extremely love it. It is medium coverage and hydrating as well.

2. Make Up For Ever (UV Prime SPF 50/PA+++)
This 2-in-1 function as a primer and UV protection saves her from getting another product. I am interested to try this because it's a perfect product for lazy girls that still want to take care of their skin.

3. Etude House (Big Cover Concealer)
This concealer is cheap and does its job. It performs better than her previous concealer which is the Maybelline one.

4. Shu Uemera Blush (Matte Blusher)
I'm not sure what this blush shade is because the packaging doesn't show the name. She loves this blush because it is a peachy shade which she loves.

I'm surprised there are so many products fit into the small Naraya pouch. I think I have her the pouch almost 6 years ago and it is still functioning well. What is your favourite product from the list above? Comment and let me know.

6 Things I Learn From Michelle Phan's Hiatus

Beauty guru, Michelle Phan have been on hiatus for a long time. There were rumour saying that she met an accident (nope, that was KevJumba), and some said that she passed away (that's a very cruel assumption). Few days ago, Michelle Phan made a low profile appearance online again, clearing that she was just taking a break.

We all know how successful she is by making her name into the Forbes 30 list, launched her own makeup line, establishing her own beauty sample subscription company and so on. She's been a role model to many young girls (me, including except I'm not so young anymore). There are many things that we could learn from her. Seeing her making a come back is a good news for a fan like me. Moreover, her return brings a breath of fresh air with her intention to start all over again. I recognize that she began to turn commercialized and mainstream the past few years. As a follower of her since her RiceBunny era it makes me feel like her personality began to slip away.

Now that she announced her return and clarifying her absence, gave me some thought and there are definitely some points that I can learn from her:

#1 - When you're too tired and losing yourself, simply take a break. It clears your mind and set your purpose back on track to where you started. Instead of pushing yourself further and find no direction to move, it is best to take a step back and view the situation from a distance.

#2 - Prioritize and focus on one single project. Michelle Phan has a Youtube channel that she work on full time, her em makeup line, Ipsy, jewelry line, beauty campaigns, and I believe she has a lot of other side projects such as her comics, beautycon and so on. As a single person, we cannot channel our attention to so many direction at once. I believe this might be the reason why she burn out and lost focus.

#3 - When you achieved something, don't feel too pressured by raising the bar higher. After her fame in Youtube, Michelle has been constantly looking for the next big thing. We have a maximum limit to go and what's more important is to recognize our very own limit. When we have reached the limit, keep to that phase. You only sprint again when you have trained enough to move faster than your limit. If you're a runner you'll understand.

#4 - Never be afraid to fail. Michelle admit that her makeup line was a failure due to the guerilla launch by makeup giant L'Oreal that she partnered with. Admit your failure and learn to improve, that's the key thing in business.

#5 - It's not always about the money. Michelle's partnership with L'Oreal gave her a big beauty database to work with and also a very strong financial support. In terms of R&D, marketing and facility, she had everything to launch her makeup line. But still, it didn't work out for her. Money isn't everything when it comes to business.

#6 - When everything fails, go back to where you started. That is probably the best of her that I can see. Not everyone have the courage to go back to the beginning but it is an important path to take if you stuck in a dead end.

I hope Michelle will continue to inspire and I definitely see the best in her. Will end this with her usual... Good luck.

YouTube Beauty Guru You Should Follow

I'm always on the look out for good beauty guru to follow. Not only they are informative, up-to-date with the ever changing beauty industry, they are also entertaining. Previously I have blogged about which beauty guru to subscribe to, and I checked, it was published almost 3 years ago. Since then I have some new favourites added on to my subscription list. And here they are (in no particular order):

#1 - Tati

I love Tati for her originality and she is not commercially sold out. She still retain the old school beauty product reviews and trustworthy at all times. She purchased most of the beauty products she featured and always put a disclaimer if she is being sponsored or the items were sent to her from PR companies. She is also unbiased towards high end or drug store products, so you can definitely get a wide range of beauty product reviews. I hold onto her opinion on those reviews because I find that she is always on point and she discussed about the products thoroughly.

#2 - The Very French Girl

Like how her name represents, she is a French girl and she is very French. I love her French accent, I think that is super sexy. Her beauty look also embraces the French quality - simple, classic, presentable and practical. The product that she uses for her tutorial are basic, you can probably find it in your dresser already. She doesn't have good shooting equipment, but I look into the quality of her video content so I don't mind her vids aren't studio perfect.

#3 - Tina Yong

If there's any new cool stuff in the market, Tina tries it. She is always up to date with new products and reviews it. Before I go out and spend my money on those hype products, I will watch how the product in action in her video. She also purchases all the products with her own money, so her opinion is not swayed commercially. Be sure to add her to your subscription because you really need to listen to her reviews before making a purchase on those newly hype products.

#4 - Jen Luvs Reviews

Get up to date weekly with JenLuvsReviews' What's Up in Makeup which she uploads every Sunday night (Malaysia local time). The show features all the new stuff that yet to launch so you can stay up to date on what's coming in the beauty industry. I also love her for her originality and straight-to-the-point review. I find that her channel is a little cluttered with all the Makeup Minute updates, but I can keep an eye closed for that.

#5 - KlairedelysArt

Disclaimer: The makeup tutorials done by KlairedelysArt is totally out of this world. It is not your average makeup, they're makeups fit for a movie screen. I believe she is a professional makeup artist for movies. She is forever creative and inspiring. I subscribe to her channel mainly to feed my creative thirst. Whatever she did, I can't replicate even half of the quality. If you're into movie makeup effects, you should follow her.

#6 - Patricia Bright

Patricia Bright is an inspiring figure. Her channel not only focus on beauty, it covers all aspect of her life, including fashion, home décor, and life updates. She also represents darker skin girls, so you can easily find a match of what she is using if you're also belong to the darker skin section.

Don't Use This Pore Suction Device!

You probably have seen this pore suction device/cleaner everywhere. It is tempting to get one because of the yucky videos they show sucking out the black heads and white heads from your pores.

Why you shouldn't use it:

  1. It loosens your skin elasticity. In a long run, your skin will sag easily. Wrinkles and fine lines will appear easily.
  2. It will cause sensitivity on your skin. The suction power may be too strong for your skin. If it is gentle it won't be able to suck out the impurities, so you can imagine how powerful the device is.
  3. Deep cleansing isn't just about removing the impurities through the suction device. Deep cleansing has to be done by stages - promote the deep impurities to resurface on the top of the skin and slowly removing it from the top.
  4. Not all impurities can be removed through the suction. It will only make your pores bigger through the process.
The device comes in many shapes and sizes. Some sold at extremely steep price. And some cost as low as RM10. Surprised? These device is made from OEM manufacturers with no brand, no quality control and God knows if they passed the safety test.

Here's what you can do if you want to deep cleanse your skin:
  1. Follow proper treatment advised by dermatologist. Consult a beautician if you think you have a bad skin situation.
  2. For home care, I would recommend you to follow the microdermabrasion treatment. The Philips Visacare Microdermabrasion device resembles the pore suction device but it really is a treatment. Do consider getting that instead of the pore suction device. Although the sucking power is not that strong, it is surely safe for your skin.
  3. Use the Cellnique Skin Action Sebum Gel every night to get the blackheads out of your skin naturally. It is the best skincare product that removes blackheads without having to do anything (except to apply it on your skin).
  4. Use deep cleansing facial wash. I do not have any recommendation for this, but the Hada Labo AHA+BHA Foam Cleanser is probably the best to combat blackheads & whiteheads problem.

March 2017 Favourites

Hello April! The first quarter of the year just ended. It is a pretty slow year, nothing accomplished at this moment which I think I need to hustle more. March is my favourite month, mainly because it's my birth month! I didn't try much of new things in March, but I surely have some favourites in hand to share with you guys.

1. Travelogue Journal

Bias opinion here. I have this travelogue from my shop. I use this at first because I needed to take photos of it. After that, it would be a waste if I don't use it. I begin to jot down my Europe travel experiences, mainly those personal thoughts that I won't share publicly. It was a fun trip, but partly it was an emotional one too. If you're one of those who likes to keep personal notes when traveling, you should get this travelogue. It also comes with mini scratch map to mark off the places I've been to, checklist, itineraries, etc. It is a perfect companion pre-travel and post-travel.

2. My new car

I got a new car by surprise and I wasn't mentally (and emotionally) ready to part with my old car. Since it was a sudden change, I didn't like the new car immediately. I was still hanging on to my old car a lot. Until recently, I'm slowly accepting the new car and getting used to it. After a few months, now I finally appreciate the full potential of the new car and I think I kind of like it. The sports mode is akin to turbo mode. Have you seen a 4WD with turbo before?

3. Benefit Cosmetics Galifornia Blusher

It's been awhile since Benefit create stunning blusher. When they released the Galifornia blush, I really can't resist it. The bright peach coral shade will suit any skintone and with the subtle gold tone, it is going to make your cheek shine. It is so beautiful on the pan and even more stunning on the face. I haven't hear anyone saying anything bad about this blush. This is going to be one of the highlight product of 2017. Try it yourself.

4. Roald Dahl's The Witches

I'm not sure if there is a word defining the joyful feeling of reading a children's book as an adult. But I'm pretty sure I'm one of those who finds the sheer pleasure in reading children's book. Technically, Roald Dahl didn't write the stories for children, it was meant to be for adult. Anyway, I am doing an intensive research about Witches and re-reading all the books related to witch. I hope that one day I can write a children's story about witches, but first, I need a lot of research. Roald Dahl's The Witches is still the best story so far. It even tops Harry Potter (in my opinion).

5. Tartelette in bloom Palette

I fall head over heels with the Tarte Tartelette In Bloom eyeshadow palette. It has all the amazing colors you ever need in a natural eye palette. It has a combination of shimmer and matte eyeshadows. The color is amazing, the pigmentation is amazing, it is long lasting, it blends easily and basically, it is everything you can ask for, for an eyeshadow palette. There are 16 colors in it which can be mixed and matched into endless possibility. If you ever want to get the one and only one eyeshadow palette for your everyday look, get this. You won't regret it.

I guess those are the only favourites that I can pick from the stuff I've tried. Happy April Fool Day! I hope you didn't get pranked too much. Hehe..
