YSL Kiss & Blush Baby Doll in 19 Corail Sulfureux

Contrary to popular belief, as a beauty blogger I have no tried all the beauty brands or experienced with every kind of beauty products invented. One of the brands that I hardly use is Yves Saint Laurent (YSL). I think it was years ago when I tried the Touche Éclat, which I didn't incorporate it in my makeup regime, so I gave it up. I've not used any YSL product since then.

This is a gift from my friend. At first, I feel that it's going to be a waste because I don't usually use tint (in fact I don't use tint at all). I tried to love the Benefit Cosmetics tints but I just can't. Until now...

What it is?Kiss your cheeks. Blush your lips. Play with color and mix and match your lips and cheeks. Yves Saint Laurent introduces the latest innovation in the edgy Baby Doll attitude. This 2 in 1 ultra blendable air whipped mousse beautifully highlights your lips and cheeks with a sensual soft matte finish.

The colour:
The shade that I have is in Corail Sulureux, which is a coral shade with orange undertone. Although it looks intense from the swatch, the shade is easily blended out for a soft look. I find the color matches the tulip well. It is exactly the shade of the tulips. It has 15 shades to choose from including 20 Lumiere Universelle, which is a pearl satin color that suits for a highlight.

The texture:
It has a gel texture from the tube. After smooth out on the skin, it has a matte finish.

Packaging:
It comes in a tint bottle that is similar to nail polish bottle. The applicator is a high-quality doe foot

Application:
For cheek - Swap the tint from the applicator with fingers or beauty blender. Dap your finger or beauty blender onto your cheek in a circular motion until the tint is evenly blended.
For lips - Apply the tint onto lips directly from the doe foot applicator. For a lighter shade, dot the tint with the applicator and use your finger to blend out the tint.

What I love about the product:
The color is the best thing of the product. I also love that it gives ultimate flexibility on how you want to use it for. With a little creativity, you can reimagine the purpose of the product. It can be an eyeshadow as well!

What I don't like about the product:
I don't like the application, especially when I use my fingers to blend it out. It incur another step on my makeup routine, which I find not so convenient. Therefore I wouldn't suggest you to use this as a daily product.
