Sephora New Brand: Jill Stuart

It's only been a week since I dipped my hands into new brands from Sephora - Huda Beauty, Pretty Vulgar & Saturday Skin. This week we have another new brand came onboard on Sephora, it's none other than Japanese luxury makeup brand Jill Stuart.

Technically Jill Stuart is an American brand, but their entire beauty line is developed & manufactured in Japan by the Kose lab. The brand has a sexy innocent look which appeals to younger women. But with the adorable packaging, I'm pretty sure older women like me are attracted to it as well. If you don't know, Jill Stuart is a household name in Japan for luxury goods. Besides beauty products, they have an entire range of home goods such as kitchenware which is often sought after in Japan.

I've got four items to try out and here are the brief intro to the products. But first, let me show you the free gift I got from the purchase. It's a beautiful crystal and silver hand mirror. You'll receive this hand mirror for every purchase of Jill Stuart products above RM280. It's also exclusive to Sephora KLCC or online purchase only.

Jill Stuart Loose Blush (RM160)

I bought this blush because the packaging is extremely unique and cute. The product is held in a dome-shaped case and the applicator is a dandelion puff. I've never seen something so pretty before. It was a little messy when I tried to set it up, but it's all good after you lock the dandelion puff into the holder.

The shade that I got is Fluffy Flower, which is a coral pink that suits all skintones. It has a subtle sheen that shimmers a little, but not too obvious. There is a strong rose scent too.

I highly recommend this if you're looking for something fun to add into your makeup collection.

Jill Stuart Lip Blossom (RM115)

I read a lot of good reviews on this lipstick and pick a safe shade to try out. The shade that I got is Girly Camellia which is an orangy pink (I tend to lean to orange shade, it complements my olive skin well). Besides the good reviews, I was also attracted to the packaging. It has Swarovski crystal-encrusted to it and a tiny mirror hidden on the top of the lid.

The finish is high-gloss shine and the product is very soft. It glides on smooth as butter. Another thing to love about this lipstick is that rosemary extract, lavender oil and avocado oil are used generously as the main ingredients.

Jill Stuart Brow & Nose Shadow Powder (RM130)

This product isn't as interesting as the others, but still has a pretty attractive packaging with a full mirror on the cover. I think it is self-explanatory, and I will write a full review on this soon when I find the time. It is also noteworthy to mention that, the product seems like a higher-end version of the Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Powder Eyebrow & Nose Shadow.

Jill Stuart Mix Blush Compact N (RM179)

I was extremely excited about this and save it for the last. I always see this blush in Japanese beauty magazine and it is highly rated. If you're going to get only one Jill Stuart product, be it this blush. The reason because, the packaging is very pretty, 'nuff said.

Just joking... I think this product actually worth your money. It also comes with a travel size brush which you can detach from the blush pan after you finish the product. The product itself has four quads that you can mix and match any shade you wish. That makes it really convenient to travel with this blush. I will definitely make a review for this! Do watch out if you're interested to know more.

The brush also embellished in real Swarovski crystal. The shade that I got is 02 Fresh Apricot.

Jill Stuart is pricey but since the packaging is made of Swarovski, that makes it pretty legit to pay the high tag. Do look out for this sign on the box. Those with no Swarovski packaging is pretty affordable.

Since I have so many things to review and so limited time, do let me know what product review you look forward to the most:
