Things I Really Use: Skincare

I'm back with the series "Things I really use" where I showcase products that I reach for on a daily basis and literally can't live without. Previously, I've shown things I really use on makeups, hair products and body products, today I'm going to show you all what I use for my skincare. I am going to divide it to day products and night products.

1. Hada Labo AHA + BHA Foam Cleanser
I can't live without this. There were many times I tried to change my cleanser, in the end, I still find this the best. It exfoliates your skin gently each time you use. It leaves the skin smooth and eliminates tiny bumps in just a single wash. Totally worthy to recommend. Many friends love it after I recommend this to them. However, if you have sensitive skin, this might not be the one for you.

2. SK-II Facial Treatment Clear Lotion
With such a fancy name, this really is just a toner. For those who don't like the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence because of the weird smell, this toner would be a good alternative. Technically, both the products are not from the same category but to me, it gives me the same result as the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence. So far, this is the best toner I've ever tried. It clears off impurities effectively, I can see the result from getting less blackheads these days.

3. Cellnique Intensive Hydrating Cream
I got this from Cellnique competition. I use this as day moisturizer cream underneath my foundation as a base. It provides all day long hydration without making the face too oily. The moisturizer comes with a high price tag RM189 but it is totally worth every single cent. It doesn't contain any scent and the consistency is quite thick but non-sticky.

4. Kiehl's Cryste Marine Firming Eye Treatment
For firming, this product is amazing! Gravity kinda pulled my upper eyelid down and make my eyes look droopy. After putting this religiously for two weeks, my upper eyelid lifted up. I always alternate this with other eye cream once I'm done with one bottle to treat my sagging eyelid problem. Sadly it doesn't improve fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness. Will talk about this eye cream more in future blog post.

1. Korres Milk Protein Wipes
To remove my foundation, I use the Korres wipe. To be honest, this wipe is quite pricey. I think I bought it at 5euros and there's only 25 pieces in it. That's about RM1 per sheet. The good thing is, it doesn't contain any chemical. Like the name suggested, it contains milk cleanser that's soft to to our skin. It is not as saturated as other wipes, but remove makeups as powerful as other wipes. The material of the napkin/tissue/wipe is made of cotton and not paper, so it feels extremely soft on the skin.

2. Shiseido Eudermine
This is a softener, which you apply after toner. It helps your skin to absorb other products better. Being the oldest skincare product in the market, this is really something you should invest on. Heavy price tag, but good investment return. For full review, click <<here>>.

3. Cellnique Skin Action Sebum Gel
Another powerful product which you can see dramatic changes after few application. What this sebum gel does is to push out all the impurities from your pores. Let's say you have oil seed, stubborn blackheads, white heads or acne, apply this before you sleep, when you wake up, there's tiny bumps appear on the surface. If you apply this on daily basis, it will continue pushing out all the impurities and your skin will look clear in no time. If you're planning to do extraction, put this on for 3 days and you don't have to scream in pain.

4. Aupres Aqua Active Sleeping Mask
Thumbs up for super good hydration product for this one. I am a believer that hydration is the key to healthy skin. And this sleeping mask is able to restore your hydration level overnight. It is a leave on mask, you don't have to rinse it. The texture is in gel and it contains a lot of water seeds which burst when in contact with your skin. The water seeds hold water particles when it burst, it gets penetrated into your skin. And the gel just seals everything up so that the hydrating agent gets trapped in your skin. I totally recommend this.

Is there any product I mention above that you want to try? Ask me anything in the comment and I will explain further. For the next "things I really use" I will be showing you all what I put on my hands and nails.

I'm a big fan of the protein wipes, I know they are a tad expensive, but for me, they are worth it :)
