[Review] Hada Labo Retinol Lifting + Firming Lotion

If you have aging skin concern such as sagging, fine lines and wrinkles, the new Hada Labo's Retinol Lifting + Firming range is worth to try out. I have only the Lifting + Firming Lotion and been using it for two weeks now. I wouldn't say I see a drastic improvement but I do have hope for this product and will continue to use up the entire bottle to wait for the effect.

1. Features an exclusive cutting-edge technology called the Insta-3D Moisture-Lock Technology.
2. Combines 4 types of Hyaluronic Acid - (1) 3D Hyaluronic Acid, (2) Nano Hyaluronic Acid, (3) Super Hyaluronic Acid, and (4) Hyaluronic Acid - to form a 3D moisture net that wraps your skin to lock-in moisture for continuous hydration.
3. Also enriched in two key anti-aging ingredients namely Retinol Vitamin A Derivative and Hydrolyzed Collagen.
4. Undo the signs of aging which include dehydration, fine lines, wrinkles, dullness and loos of elasticity.
5. pH balanced and free from alcohol, colorant, fragrance, preservative and mineral oil.
6. Affordable price and easily available.

1. Improvement is pretty slow. (Maybe I have to use the entire range of the Retinol Lifting + Firming products to see  speedy improvement.

The texture of the lotion is pretty thick, it doesn't feel like your ordinary toner that is runny like liquid. This is more of a broth texture, similar to mushroom soup (I know that is a weird comparison).

How to apply:

Use after cleansing as toner. Pour adequate amount onto a cotton pad and spread it over your face like how you normally use your toner before applying your other skincare products.

I also found a pretty amazing use for this product. I made it into my daily eye mask. It's easy to make. It helps freshen up my eyes every morning. Plus, it might just give my saggy eyelid a lift. I pre-made a bunch of it, so I can put it on every morning. I always needed extra time on the bed every morning before I kick start the day, so this eye mask freshen up my eyes immediately. All you need is eye patch mask, I bought mine from Daiso (or you can make your own from cotton pad) and the Hada Labo Retinol Lifting + Firming Lotion.

Then place the eye mask sheet alternately into a tupperwear (or bowl). It is easier to take off each sheet when you put it alternately. They tend to stick together after you soak it with the essence.

Pour a generous amount of the Retinol Lifting + Firming Lotion into the tupperwear and let it soak. You can use your clean finger to spread out the essence evenly.

You can keep it on your dresser and use whenever you like. But I love the cooling effect, so I keep it in the fridge and will retrieve two pieces every morning.

This makes me look like I just slapped two pieces of panty liner under my eyes. But it feels so dammmmnnnn good!

As I've mentioned earlier, this product didn't give obvious effect on erasing my fine lines and wrinkles. But in terms of lifting, I think it did a little good job on that. That is why I had the idea on putting on my eyes every morning. I hope that it will gradually lift up my saggy eyelids.

The Hada Labo Retinol Lifting + Firming range is available at all leading pharmacies and hypermarkets. The Lotion cost RM59.90.

HAHAHAHAHA at the pantyliner sentence!! I haven't tried this out yet but I guess I should. And using it as an eye mask sounds like a really good idea. :D
