My Daily Skincare Regime & Products I'm Using

The last time I shared the beauty products I use was three years ago. After three years, my skin condition changed due to change of lifestyle and aging, I also found new products that function better than the previous ones and most of all I've improved financially and able to splurge a little more that I did.

As a beauty blogger, I try a lot of products. Some are sent to me for review purposes. Some are purchased by my own out of curiosity. So, what are the products that I use on a daily basis?

In this post, I will show you all the skincare that I actually use religiously.

Bifesta Makeup Remover
I swear by this makeup remover. Even when I'm traveling, I will have the Bifesta makeup wipes with me. It removes the strongest waterproof mascara and eyeliner. It's so efficient in removing makeups and suit even the worst sensitive skin.

Shu Uemura Porefinist Cleansing Oil
I use this to remove the foundation on my face at night. Like any Shu Uemura's cleansing oil, it removes all the makeups from my face with additional feature, to refine enlarged pores. I have a love-hate relationship with this cleansing oil. Although it's doing a good job in cleansing, it also stings my eyes. If you know any good cleansing oil, do recommend to me.

Kiehl's Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash
This is the only facial wash that SK-II has. It is a general facial wash. I don't know how to sell you this product, other than it works really well with my skin. I experienced lesser breakouts when using this.

Hada Labo Mild Peeling Lotion
Right after cleansing, I apply this as a toner. I've been using this for a long time and I swear by this product. Everytime I run out of it, I find tiny bumps developing on my skin. Those who I recommended this product also have a great relationship with it. If you have not tried it, go get it!

SK-II Facial Treatment Essence
The FTE follows after the toner. This is also another product that I swear by it. I first purchased it three years ago after my friend Shikin recommended it to me. I blogged about it. Then the post was discovered by SK-II. Since then they've been sending me the FTE. When I run out of my sponsored FTE, I do purchase my own too. I always 'tumpang' my friends who are traveling to buy it for me from the airport. Check out my blog post on FTE <<here>>.

SK-II Cellumination Mask in Lotion
I only use this when my skin is dry or when I'm suffering from eczema to substitute the Hada Labo Mild Peeling Lotion. Its main purpose is to brighten the skin and works really well with the GenOptics Aura Essence. Although I don't use it for the purpose it's made, I find the texture really mooth and light. It feels milder than a lot of lotions.

Lancome Advanced Genefique
Before I discovered the SK-II GenOptics Aura Essence, I use the Lancome Advanced Genefique. The two products give me different results, this is why I am still using both. I use them alternately. While the Genifique lifts up my saggy skin around my cheek area, the Aura Essence helps in improving the radiance.

SK-II GenOptics Aura Essence
This is currently on the top of my favourite skincare. I brought it along when I went to Pulau Perhentian. It keeps my skin protected while under the sun and repairs from within during the night. Even though my skin was exposed to harsh environment, my skin condition improves by 1 year of age! It's amazing! Read my review with evidence <<here>>.

SK-II Facial Treatment Repair C
I use this specifically when I needed repair on my skin. Whenever I have rashes, sun burn, or peeling, this product helps me to recover overnight. Although I don't use it very often, but I still think it is worth to keep one just in case.

Eye cream

SK-II Stempower Eye Cream
Although I've been slacking in taking care of my eyes, I do understand the importance to apply eye cream on a daily basis. The Stempower eye cream is for my night wear. It is much thicker than the FTE Eye. This product helps me a lot in maintaining the firmness around my eye area. I rub my eyes very often and I believe without this product, I probably have droopy eyes by now.

SK-II Facial Treatment Essence - Eye
I use this underneath the makeup during the day. The texture is lighter and it provides hydration throughout the day.

Facial Oils

The Body Shop Oils of Life
Prior to getthing the Facial Treatment Oil, I use this. I love The Body Shop products, but I can't get myself to like this. it suppose to reduce signs of aging. After a week of using it, I don't find any slight improvement to my skin, so I quit! And move on to the next product.

SK-II Facial Treatment Oil
I like this better because of the mixture with Pitera. Whenever I forget to use the FTE, I still get its benefit from using this oil. You suppose to shake the bottle until the mixtures of oil and Pitera emulsify and apply only 3-4 drops to your skin. I've been using this for a month and I haven't even reach a quarter of the bottle! Will review this next.

SK-II Stempower
Because I use so many other products, I hardly reach out to my moisturizers now. However, I apply this during the day underneath my makeup. Although I know I'm not suppose to use moisturizer underneath my makeup, I'm just too lazy to get primer. This moisturizer works well for me, so be it!

Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Cream
I use this during the night because the texture is really thick. I eliminates fine lines really well, however it doesn't work well with deep wrinkles. Use this as a preventive instead of corrective function.

Kiehl's Ultra Light Daily UV Defense
If I will be going under the sun, I will put this on under my makeup instead of the SK-II Stempower. As the name suggested, it is lightweight and doesn't leave icky feelings on the skin like other sunscreen.

It looks like I have a lot to put on my skin daily. However, some of the products I use it once a week. And I swear, these are the products I reach out very often. Do you use any of the products above? Let me know what you think about it.

Thanks for posting. I've not heard of some of these products. Just wondering if you have tried any products from SKN Complex www.skncomplex.com.au.

I really want to try their Age Reverse DNA Eye Complex as I have really bad dark circles but trying to find some reviews first..

@muja - SK-II products are good and you can really see the result within a month. However, if you concern on the cost, I would advise you to get their "repair" products. Those basic products like facial wash and toner, you can skip it.
