[Review] Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup

This is my second bottle. It won my heart by the finishing of the foundation - light and dewy which allows me to use it daily without looking like I'm ready for photo shooting. It looks natural and blends into my skin shade very well.

I've introduced this to many of my friends and so far all of them are liking it. This drives me to write this review here because it didn't come across my mind to blog about something which I use daily until a friend urged me to.

What it is:
A weightless and virtually invisible liquid foundation that creates a luminous, demi-matte finish. This formula helps skin achieve a natural, illuminated and bright finish— like the beautiful skin you were born with. Naked Skin is formulated with light-diffusing spheres, transforming you to look professionally retouched. Buildable coverage allows women to customize their look. Available in a meticulously calibrated range of shades, Urban Decay’s precise shade numbering system does poetic justice to both warm tones (ending in “.0”) and cool skin tones (ending in “.5”). The finish is matte, never flat, and luminous, but not shiny.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
Parabens. Sulfates. Synthetic Fragrances. Phthalates. GMOs. Triclosan.

Texture & coverage:
The liquid foundation leans towards light coverage. It requires a few layering to build up to medium coverage. Full coverage is not achievable due to the watery texture.

How to use:
Best applied with brush. Finger application may cause streakiness because of the light texture. It requires loose powder for setting if you are building the coverage.

As you can see, it does not have full coverage. Some dark spots and pores are still visible. This is my daily foundation because the texture is so light it doesn't leave the icky feeling on my skin. It is also easy to wash off and doesn't leave residue of makeup on my skin after cleansing. I only use my daily cleanser to wash it off.

What else you need to know:
This makeup loads skin with a list of nourishing ingredients including: Matrixyl 3000 (a powerful anti-wrinkle peptide), protective and brightening Litchiderm, antioxidant Green Tea and Sodium Hyaluronate for optimal skin hydration and nutrient absorption. Naked Skin is suspended in a sleek, sophisticated pump bottle, allowing more control and less waste of product.

The Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup is available at Sephora nationwide at RM155.
