[Review] Burberry Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Foundation

I have been using the Burberry Fresh Glow foundation for a while now and I think I can finally judge the product fairly. First of all, let me start with the packaging. It is really sleek and looks glamorous with the iconic Burberry checks imprinted on the metal cap. The bottle itself is a hard acrylic plastic. At first, I felt a little bummer because if it comes with a glass bottle it would look really chic (such as the Marc Jacobs Genius Gel Foundation). Later when I bring this out on weekend trips and to the office, I'm glad it came with a plastic bottle. I've dropped it once and it didn't break. So I was lucky to have it in plastic instead of a glass.

It dispensed through a pump which is also neat and you can estimate the amount of product which you need.

Product description:
A moisturizing fluid foundation that provides medium coverage and creates a flawless, dewy glow. Fresh Glow Foundation harnesses mirror-flat reflection pearls that instantly enhance luminosity and provide a flawless, dewy glow. True color pigments create a radiant, natural-looking finish without hiding the skin. The formula contains Burberry's signature English blend of rosehip, tea, and lavender. The lightweight formula moisturizes skin and leaves it feeling hydrated and soft. Fresh Glow Foundation features SPF 12 PA+++ to protect against the damaging effects of UVA and UVB rays and is available in numerous shades to match all skintones.
·         No fragrance.
·         The coverage is in sheer-medium which is great for everyday wear. It adequately covers dark spots.
·         It doesn’t oxidize.
·         It doesn’t leave traces of irritation. I believe it suits mildly sensitive skin.
·         Buildable coverage.
·         Too expensive to be use as daily foundation. But too average to be a foundation for special days.
·         It doesn’t cover scars or dark pigmentation. You still need help from concealer to get a full coverage.
·         If you are wearing it for long hour, you need to set it with a setting powder.

Overall, I think it is a great foundation. I will leave the decision for you to purchase based on your own financial capability. If you don't have a budget on foundation, go for it. As for me, I wouldn't buy it again because it is expensive. Honestly, in terms of quality there are cheaper foundation which is on par with this Burberry foundation. It is not extremely good that render you to pay another additional RM100 for a foundation (the Urban Decay Naked Skin is just as good and cost only RM155). So, what do you say? Will you still get it?
