DAY 12 LOCKDOWN: When the rich people whines

I have nothing much to update. I guess "nothing much" is being part of my daily life for now. I watched the Itaewon Class till 5am the night before and woke up at 12pm. I completely ditch my responsibility to feed my family, and everyone had to eat biscuits for breakfast. LOL! I begin to miss my single life. Having people relying on you sucks.

Since I have no particular thing to update, I want to whine about rich people whining with reference to Vivy Yusuf. I admire her for her professional work as a woman entrepreneur, but I don't like her personality. She was complaining about the government's stimulus package that do not support SME.

First, by definition, her business isn't SME. She has multiple shops in prestigious malls. What the government focusing on is really small businesses like nasi lemak sellers by the roadside. She has no right to compare her business that yields millions compared to those who are looking for a few bucks a day to feed their family. Besides, she already has gotten so many government grants when in good times.

Even after she apologized, I don't think she understands where she's coming from. The first words mostly reflect genuine thoughts and it delivers the energy to your audience, that's how people interpret your words. This is not the time to be jealous of what aid people get from the government. If you don't receive any financial aid, be thankful. That means you are doing much better than 80% of the population in the country.

There are 2 types of rich people - one is inspiring and another one is pure breed elitists.

P/S: If I wear tudung, I won't be supporting Duck anymore. I'd rather buy RM10 tudung from Bazaar Tok Guru even if it's not fashionable. If I wear tudung...
